Shepherd's Market is London's best-kept secret. I stumbled upon it quite by accident last night and was totally charmed by it. It's like a slice of Montmartre in London, all cafes and tiny shops and bijou restaurants.

It seems a lot goes on behind its demure facade - web searches turn up hundreds of references to, and reviews of, prostitutes.
